How To Plant Garlic
Wednesday, December 10, 2014
We love garlic around here! I use it in almost every dish I make for the family and whip it out with some lemon and honey when someone has a cold. It has great healing properties. This is the second time I've grown it--the first time was in my container garden. It's surprisingly quite easy to grow.
1. Purchase organic garlic.
2. Remove the largest cloves for planting.
3. Place clove with the pointy side facing upwards.
4. Plant in 2 inch deep hole.
5. Completely cover.
6. Harvest when leaves have turned brown but not completely dry. In approximately 8 months. Sewing time varies depending on the region you live in.
