Okay, so the last time I wore anything neon I was probably in the 7th grade. The experience was traumatic! LOL. My mom got me these pink, yellow and green neon platform shoes that I did not want to wear to a dance...but they were in style and she is all about what's trending (bless her heart). haha.
I remember trotting my clunky feet uncomfortably across the street when a boy started with the jokes. Those of you who grew up in the islands know that there is no mercy when it comes to clowning on someone. I was so hurt. I swore never again! But hey, here I am carrying a neon bag and I'm kinda digging it. I'm so glad that I grew up!
The thing with neon is that nothing else can match. Use it in moderation for a little pop! I paired it with a dusty pink floral romper and heels of the same hue. The embroidered detailing on this romper is AMAZING! Target is really on point in the style department currently! I couldn't find it online but check your local Target store for the romper. This look is perfect for a girls evening out or a date with your special someone.
